The Denver Post Underground Music Showcase in it’s eight year, has established itself as Colorado’s premier event to showcase local musicians, comedians and performers.
For 2008, we at Dayjob gladly contributed, and got our calloused hands on about everything you’d see or read regarding this two day event. Dayjob did what it does best, and produced a fully updatable website for the event. A good thing too. When you have a bunch of dedicated music lovers organizing 18 venues and damn near 100 bands and comedians you need a flexible website where information can be easily updated. (Patience is good to have too. So are milkshakes. But especially patience.)
Additionally, Dayjob stepped up the role of Art Director and created the festival identity, including all advertising material, signage, posters, event T-Shirts, and festival guide.
Additionally, Gigbot got one of it’s inaugural moments in the spotlight as the DPUMS Presenting Sponsor. To help with the responsibilities as a host, Gigbot started it’s very popular Photobooth to capture some of the faces who attend the great shows through the weekend. Check them out. …We think you’ll agree there are some handsome people in Denver.
