Monolith Music Festival 2008

The Monolith Music Festival was picked by Rolling Stone as one of the 10 Great Festivals to Cure the Summertime Blues. -It should have; the two day festival brought over 60 international, national and local bands to 5 stages at Denver’s landmark Red Rocks Amphitheatre this year.

Dayjob took care of how it was all communicated online and in print. We were responsible for the Art Direction and website design and development – including all VIP ticketing processing and fulfillment via Marquee.

The nine month campaign resulted in over 50 print and web advertisements in local and national media, complete visual identity, the design and production of a broad print collateral package that kept our shop buzzing throughout the spring and summer months, including:

• Festival Program
• Official Festival Map and Informational Graphics
• Festival Music Sampler CD Disc and Package Art
• VIP and Artists Credentials
• Parking Passes
• Event Signage
• Apparel Artwork
• Promotional Flyers and Cards
• Digital Marquees
• CD Stickers for Regional In-Store Promotion of Festival Artists

However, the most exciting pieces of Dayjob-delivered-goodness was the cool integration between the Monolith Website and Gigbot. All the social aspects of the event were handled by Gigbot, with a custom festival section for Monolith and the ability to select individual performances at the festival and create custom schedules.

Cooler still, was the attendance and comment feedback displayed on the Monolith site itself, allowing visitors to quickly see how many fellow festival goers were planning to attend the many performances and to see the comments made on each band.
